Zentangle Inspired Art ATC Swap 2 - If the Shoe Fits

Yesterday I popped up the ATCs I did for the butterfly ZIA swap. Today I have some the 2nd swap "If the shoe fits!". I have hand drawn the jester shoes (I love jesters!) and tangled them. The 2nd ATC I am calling "Cosmic Jester" cos to me it looks like it's in space.
The last one is the hostess gift for Esther for hosting the swap. I am really happy with these.
Enjoy.
Take care and ciao for now,

Zentangle Inspired Art ATC Swap

Just recently, I joined a terrific Yahoo group called Zentangle Inspired Art. They are a wonderful group of folks who love to tangle too. I immediately signed up for a couple of swaps that close at the end of July.

I have completed the first swap (Butterflies) and have posted them off to the USA. I am really looking forward to the returns. In the meantime, I thought I would share with you those small pieces of art. The first three ATCs are for the swap. The 4th is for the hostess to keep, as a thank you for running the swap.

Enjoy.
Take care and ciao for now,

!-4-1 ATC Swaps on StampHappy

Well, I am starting to feel much more like myself today. Still have a cough, but the new meds seem to be helping and I am starting to feel better.

To start the ball rolling again on my blog, I am going to be sharing some swaps and things I have received, as well as some cards I made for LSBS. They will be on separate posts to make viewing easier.

First up I have some 1-4-1 ATC's I have received from some talented ladies from the StampHappy Yahoo group. For those who don't know, a 1-4-1 swap means one for one. In other words, you make and send one person something and they make and send you something in return, instead of making lots of the same thing to be swapped with lots of people.

So, you saw the returns I made a while back HERE, but I never managed to photograph the ATC's I have received. Now, for your viewing pleasure, here they are, in no particular order:

From Carolyn Weiss
Isn't this koala cute, especially the way the leaf moves.

Vikki Whittington
Roz Veevers
Jude Wagner
Rikki Showell
Barb Dare
Thanks so much ladies for these beautiful ATCs. They make a lovely addition to my ever growing collection!

Have a great day!

Stamphappy Swap

Hiya!!

Today I am sharing a card (front) I created for a Swap on StampHappy. The theme is simply "Roller Stamp (Any Brand)". So, I chose this fence roller from Rollergraph. It was my first ever roller years ago, and is still one of my faves, even thought I don't use it as often as I ought to.

As usual, you can click on the images for a larger view.

Recipe:
Cardstock (lilac Bazzill, purple Office Works)
Watercolour paper (Arches 300gsm)*
Rollergraph stamp
Stazon Inkpad - Jet Black
Heidi Grace Stamps (friend) "Urban Acres Blvd"
Butterfly stamps (Avon)
Black gel pen
Watercolor pencils (Crayola) & waterbrush

*This is some of the best quality watercolour paper I have ever come across!
I would recommend this to anyone who love the SU! Watercolour paper.
You can buy Arches in pad (as I did) in sizes ranging from A5 to A3.
I bought mine at Eckersleys. Love that shop!

Have a great day!

More swap shares

Hello there bloggers!
Today I am sharing a couple more swaps I have completed for StampHappy, one of the yahoo groups that I am in (a fab group for stampers in Australia & New Zealand).

This first one is a card swap. The theme was "Punches" and you had to include stamping and at least one punch somewhere on the card.

The cute little mouse is a Penny Black stamp from the "Bubbly" acrylic stamp set and the "friend" is from "For a Friend" (SU Hostess set from the current Australian/New Zealand IB&C). The punches I used are both from Stampin' Up! - the Star and Large Star. The green cardstock is Wild Wasabi (Stampin' Up!) with generic textured blue and yellow. The Wild Wasabi was run through my cuttlebug with the Spots n Dots embossing folder. The bling is Flower bling by Kaiser and generic round rhinestones.

This one is for an ATC swap. The theme is "All About Me" and had to include stamping.

I used textured purple cardstock (my fave colour - can you tell? hehehe). The stamp is from "Critter Party" unmounted acrylic stamps set by Penny Black. Plenty of bling bling (of course lol). The font is "Girls are Weird". I printed off all the words, ran them through my Xyron Sticker maker, cut them all up and stuck them down.

Thanks for looking!

Have a great day!
