School Holiday Classes at Dean Park Community Development Project

When: Wednesdays 13th and 20th April 2011
from 10am - 3pm
Cost: $20 for the day (byo lunch).
Cost includes: A kit for each project, all tools and materials to make the projects, plus light refreshments (tea/coffee/water/biscuits)
What to bring: Yourself. You can bring your own craft mat, tools etc but I will have enough for everyone on the day. Additional items needed are listed for each class below.
Who can join in: My classes are suitable for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, so anyone is welcome to come.

Altered Canvas Photo Frame
We will be creating a lovely photo frame using a box frame canvas (size tba), patterned papers and embellishments. Please bring an apron or smock to cover up, as we will be painting the canvas with acrylic paints.
Each kit will include: Canvas, adhesive, flowers and other embellishments. You will also be able to choose 2 patterned papers and 2 pieces of cardstock to match. I will also have extra embellishments with me that you can choose from.
Extra items to bring with you: a photo to put into the frame (size tba) plus any extra bits and pieces of your own that you may like to use. Don’t forget your apron.

Shabby Chic Layout and Card
There will be 2 projects to complete - a scrapbook layout in Shabby Chic style and a matching card. We will be playing with stamps and inks, so I will have latex gloves with me for those who don’t want to get their hands dirty. If you are allergic to latex, please bring your own suitable gloves to the class.
Each layout kit will include: Adhesive, flowers and other embellishments. You will be able to choose 2 patterned papers and 1 sheet matching cardstock. I will also have extra embellishments you can choose from on the day. Extra items to bring with you: a photo (size tba) plus any extra bits and pieces of your own that you may like to use.
Each card kit will include: Card base, all ribbons/embellishments etc needed to complete the card, written instructions. There will be extra patterned papers to choose from on the day to complete the card.
