mmm.....yarn!

So, I am back from shopping. Aah, I do love a good shop! Wanna see what I bought? Makes me very happy in my heart :)

Here is a bundle of 17 colours (yes, I ended up getting the reds and the olive. Sadly, there was no black).

I also got blue and ivory for Zac (as, no black).

I am looking forward to getting started on Zac's cos I don't have to think very hard about the colours :)

Take care and ciao for now,

Hi Deanne,

What beautiful, vibrant colours! I can't wait to see what you do with them.

I have spent some time today on the Attic24 site, and then on Flickr...sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Such beautiful crochet goodies on there! I am in love.

I bought some yarn and a crochet hook about a year ago...but then did not get around to using them. I have never crocheted a stitch in my life. Can you recommend a good place online to learn the basics for the granny squares?

Cheers,
Sam.

Hey Lucy,

yep, I think Lucy has a tute. My only advice would be to google "easy granny squares". There a literaly hundreds and hundreds of granny squares out there, so you should be able to find something easy. If not, I guess I could do a step by step. Let me know how you go :)
