Look at Jack now!!!

Hello again!!

Remember how teeny tiny my little KittyCat Jack was when we got him? No?
Well, here is a photo of him way back when we got him at the beginning of March when he was 5 weeks old . . .Wasn't he just the cutest teensy little thing??

And, here he is in May, getting a little bigger, but still a cutie patootie . . .
And this is our lovely Jack yesterday, 19 September. He is still not quite fully grown (he is now 7 months old), so I think he is going to be one very large kitty.
He is so gorgeous, but very hard to photograph (as any of you with a black cat will know). He is very sleek and panther-like in the face and I think he is a very handsome kitty cat.

If any of you are familiar with the stories Hairy Maclairy from Donaldson's Dairy, then you will know the character called Slinky Malinky - a mischevious black cat with a kink in his tail. Well, our Jack reminds us very much of Slink Malinky, because he can be a rascally cat sometimes.

Ok, well, thats it for me for another day.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Jack's Chair

Hello bloggers!!
Wanna see Kittycat Jack's chair? Well, here it is in all its glory!
He climbs onto the chair and tries to catch his tail as it swishes through the gap. It has only taken him a few weeks to to this!!
He loves his chair. His bed stays on this chair and he loves to lay there and sleep all day in the sun. He also loves to shred the foam (the amount of times I have had to sweep up foam bits off my craftroom floor . . . . . )

Thanks for stopping by today.

The continuing adventures of Kittycat Jack...

Hello there in blogland!!

You remember my adventurous cat don't you, climbing up the window screen and curtains to sit on the curtain rods and explore the ceiling?

Well, he has found a NEW way to get up there . . when our main door is open, he gallops up the flyscreen door - and I really do mean gallop cos he's up there in seconds!! - and then sits on top of the main door! See, look at him!.......

Only problem was, he couldn't figure out how to get back down again.....

So, I was getting on a chair to get him. However, he has now figured out it is a small leap off the door, onto that shelf below and down.

Thanks for sharing this adventure with me. This will be my last post for a couple of days, as I am off to a stamping retreat YAY!! Hope my kiddies and DH give Jackie lots of love while I am away, cos I just know he is gonna miss me (well, he will miss his sleeping spot anyway - my chest!).

Have a great day/weekend and I will see you all again on sunday night (or Monday morning).

The adventures of Kittycat Jack . . . .

Hi everyone!

Want to know what a norty little black kitten does to pass the time? He goes CLIMBING!!!!

In my craft room, there are 2 sets of large windows covered with lace curtains. Turns out these are excellent for any little cat with nice sharp claws to climb up and explore the upper regions of the walls and the tops of cupboards. He also found he could climb up the fly screen then swing onto the curtain rods that way!!

He had me laughing, but then I was worried he would fall down between the 2 cupboards in the corner (there is no way I could move those myself - would have been a call to emergency services - how embarrassing!!). So, enjoy these photos!! Try not to chuckle too hard!!

Meet Jack

Want to meet our new kittycat?

This is Jack (with Michael).

Here is Emily with Jack (she just loves him sooooo much!!)

This is Jack on my laptop. He loves the feel of it cos its warm and hums (I think it must feel like purring lol). Since this photo was taken, I have taught Jack to stay off the puter - it is funny trying to type and he steps on the keys and all sorts of weird things happen hehehe!!)
