Hello Again!!

Hello out there in blog land.

I have networked my blog so that it is now linked to my facebook page. If you are a follower, can you scroll down the page a bit on my blog and click "follow" on the networked blogs link please. I am curious to know if it sends you 2 updates (one from google and one from FB) or if you only receive the one.

I am hoping that 2011 will be a good year for me for blogging. I am hoping to share more creations on here from my classes and also LSBS and keep the mojo moving!!

Happy new year for 2011 and may this be a great year for everyone!!

Take care and ciao for now,

oops, been MIA

Seems I have neglected my blog again. Just too many other things to do!
My No-Sew blanket is finished, and I finished Zac's as well. I have started Emily's and have been busy sewing together squares for blankets to raffle at Dean Park Community Development Project (more on that soon).

So, just a quick Hello to you all and I will attempt to be more blog-wise again :)

Take care and ciao for now,

oops, I did it again!

Once again I have neglected my blog. It has been a difficult couple of weeks here, starting with a shooting in the street, then I broke my big toe and then a close family friend passed away - all within the space of 36 hours!!

So, hopefully, starting today, I will feel more inclined to get onto updating.

I have some photos of some wonderful creations by my Uniting in Work ladies that I really want to share with you.

I have been inspired by Libby to come and get back into blogging. Libby's blog is always busy and updated with her wonderful creations. I have just printed off Libby's sketch challenge (click HERE to go and have a look) which is partly to help her celebrate 2 years of blogging! Libby also has heaps of links down the side of her page to all sorts of challenges and inspirational blogs. Why not pop over to her blog and take a look?

Anyway, I promise I will be more regular with the updates from now on!!

I AM BACK!!!!

Hello everyone!!

I cannot believe I have neglected my blog for so long! I just could bring myself to be on here all the time - I seemed to spend all my time on the computer and no time creating!!

So I just disappeared for a while but now I am back!! WAHOO!

To get the ball rolling, I am going to put up a few posts to show you some things I have created over the last little while, I will share a glimpse into my craft room and you will find out all about the CyberCrop coming up this weekend at Little Scrapbook Shop.

At the moment I have one child home with the chicken pox (I sent one back to school today - she was off for just over a week and was very happy to get back to school today ;) ). Now I just have Zac home, but back to school on Monday for him.

So, bye for now, stay happy and healthy!!

What does my home say about me?

I saw this on xoxAlyssaxox's blog, and on Bon's blog and thought I would have a go. Pretty cool.
What does your house say about YOU? I'd love to know. Click on the link for find out, pop it on your blog and come back here to leave a comment and link so I can have a read.

You come across as very intellectual.
People take your wisdom seriously.

Your hygiene is passable, but you may be
hiding some dirty secrets.

You are a very domestic person. You enjoy decorating, cooking, and making things homey.

You are a very nurturing person.
You find meaning in taking care of others.

You feel settled in your life.
You have enough time to focus on little details.

You are a very self sufficient person.
You can get along well without much help.

Your friends see you as honest,
humble, and responsible.

Arrgh!! Its a conspiracy!! (sort of. .. . )

Hello there everyone,

Well I have not done any proper creating for a while, and it feels like the world is conspiring against me!!!

Well, not really, but it seems that just when I think I can finally get down and do some stuff, something else comes along *rolling my eyes*

Have not been able to teach Uniting in Work for 3 weeks now, and I really miss my ladies :( .
First I was very ill, then my kids, then Emily again this week. (Yes, she is fine now). Then, the new book "Brisinger" in the Eragon series came out on Saturday. I am a total fantasy fiction addict and love this author, Christopher Paolini. So, not only did I get the third book in the series, but the first 2, so I could read them again before the 3rd. So, I spent all Sunday and part of Monday reading book 1 "Eragon" then the rest of Monday reading book 2 "Eldest". Then all of yesterday and part of today reading the third book. I really thought it was the last one, alas, it is not - there will be a fourth book. Ah well, I am kind of glad, it means the series will live on for a bit longer, but I really hate having to wait for the next book.

Anyway, now that that small obsession is now out of my system, I can sit down and get some creating done again.

Except that little Jack is unwell. We had our first scary trip to the Vet today, as he has been limping, shaking and off his food. He was fine yesterday, but may have been stung be a bee. Vet gave him a shot of anti-inflammatry something and something for allergic reaction and he is on antibiotics for 10 days. Poor baby. At least he loves me. He was a good boy at the vet, but meowed all the way there and back again in the car (I don't think he enjoys the movement - me either lol). He is next to me in his basket - follows me everywhere. Hope he gets better soon.

Oh, and soon, I will have some exciting news to share too (no, I am not pregnant lol).

So, until next time, Take care

Back to normal programming!

Good morning bloggers!!

Today marks the beginning of normal life routines again, as I say toodly-oodly to my youngest DD who is finally back to school today. We have all had mycoplasma pneumonia, which is why we were all so sick. Mad went back to school yesterday and I have never seen so many people be so happy to see her!

Unfortunately, it looks like (well, sounds like actually) DH may be coming down with it now, but he is bravely fighting it off without antibiotics, but I think he is losing the battle. I suspect it will be off to the doctors for him on Saturday for a course of medication. *sigh*

Oh well, at least the girls are back to school and I can get some semblance of "normalcy" back into my days.

Now, to find my desk again and start creating!

Have a lovely day,

Deanne

Hi I'm Back

Howdy all,
I am back again. Won't fill you in on the grizzly details. Suffice to say I am still in considerable pain with a gaping hole in my gum and bone visible! Nuf said ugh!!

So, later on today, I will have a nice share for you. I have covered my second ideas book (the first one is almost full and i have had to start a new one lol). My idea books contain sketches and ideas for cards and other things. I usually carry it with me, cos you never know when you will be struck with inspiration.

I just need to make a protective plastic cover for it, then I can photograph it and pop it in here.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone who sent me one. I really appreciate all your kind thoughts.

Have a happy day,
Deanne

Hello, I am still here

Hello everyone!!
Oops, I have been a bit slack keeping this up to date again.
The July Cyber Crop over at Little Scrapbook Shop is in full swing. There are some totally fantastic creations in our gallery. Why not pop on over and have a look!

I have some photos to share with you very soon of my very naughty kittycat Jack. He has totally demolished the chair that his bed sits on (seriously, he has torn it to shreds lol). He was desexed last week, so some of his more naughty behaviours have settled down a lot. He is still very cute and soft and fluffy, and he is such a mummy's boy hehehe. The kids can't understand why he loves me so much (I don't know, but hey, I'm not arguing!!!).

So, I will just edit them a bit (ie shrink them down to fit on the blog) and post them up a bit later.

Don't forget to pop on over the LSBS and check out the CC Challenges and the Gallery.

Have a great day,
Deanne
